3 Mistakes Most People Make When Marketing
Updated: Apr 24
1. Not Providing Value
One of the many mistakes I see many people do on a daily basis is not providing value. I can't count the number of times I have had people just try to go in for the sale or tried to persuade me of their opinion without providing value. Not providing Value is a rookie's mistake and a seasoned veteran would know they need to give value to the customer before they ask their customer for anything. Simply think of how to answer this question
"How do I help you?"
Do this and you will increase the amount of people who engage with your marketing efforts.
2. Not Understanding the Customer
A lot of people don't know who their ideal client is. you need to know who they are, why they
buy, and what they expect from your business. If you do not know who your customer is you are using a shotgun to hit a target a mile away. IT WON'T WORK! You need to have specific marketing targeted to your different customers and tailor that marketing to their specific needs and interest.
3. Not Testing Enough Data
How do you grow if you don't know what to do to grow? One of the biggest things I see is marketer who are afraid to try some of the new technologies or spaces. Most of the time under crowed space is cost effective. You need to focus on expanding your test so you can know what works and what doesn't work. Double down on your strengths and in order to find out where your strengths are you need to test out different ideas.
